According to Nokiapoweruser, a Nokia-oriented news website, custom edition of the phone will be available in the U.S (and China, in case anyone cares). The difference between a normal and custom Nokia 8’s is supposedly increased memory of the latter, 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM instead of 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. Nokiapoweruser believes that Nokia assigns a, quote, ”very high priority”, which means that the US release may happen later or maybe the US custom version will be a lesser variant of the Chinese one.

Date of release of the phone is unknown, but we may to have wait as long as ’till 2nd quarter of 2018.
