BestBuy will not be selling Huawei phones in the US anymore

US government continues cracking on Huawei. AT&T and Verizon have already been told not to offer Huawei devices for sale due to the potential risk of national security breach (basically Huawei using its phones to spy on American citizens for China). Now it has told the same to BestBuy, and the retailer listened. While it still sells Huawei phones at the moment, BestBuy will not replenish its inventory with new units, and will cease selling them altogether in a few weeks. You can still get one from Amazon, Newegg and Microsoft Stores, but it might only be a matter of time before these sources run dry too.

Huawei wanted to become the largest smartphone manufacturer in the world by 2021. Looks like these ambitious plans may have to be postponed.
