Everybody knows about Whatsapp feature that deletes chats after seven days.

This time however the company gave us a different option. We can delete the chats after 24 hours or 90 days.

Which is a great option for all people who cannot decide if they need to keep the chat or delete it.

Second thing is the fact that right now all users will be able to turn on the disappearing messages feature for all new individual chats by default.
After you turn on default disappearing messages, the app will display a message in your chats telling the same to the people, so they know it’s nothing personal.

Which is very nice and helpfull so that nobody gets offended.

To turn on the function please go to WhatsApp’s Settings, Account and Privacy select Default message timer menu and select the duration.
